I always deliver my language courses around two key concepts: seeing language as a means of effective communication and giving students confidence in their own linguistic abilities. This often includes preparing tailor-made courses, with defined, verifiable goals.

Depending on the student’s age, level and aims, I always try to teach using a variety of appropriate resources to create a lively and enjoyable lesson.

I teach English as a foreign language, Italian and French, online or face-to-face.

Julia’s Italian conversation classes, both face-to-face and (during Covid-19) on Skype, are well-prepared, fun and creatively tailored to my interests.
